Individual & Family plans are currently at a crossroads in the insurance world. While there are some plans available both ON the healthcare marketplace and OFF marketplace, there are many deadlines and enrollment restrictions that factor into a member’s options. Anyone can shop/change plans in the regulated Open Enrollment Period, but outside of that window members must have gone through a Qualified Life Event (QE) in order to enroll or change plans.
